No offecnce to the Indian population or what, but if Literature is going to be like this every year, I will go lose my marbles and start talking like you guys.

First text was The English Teacher, set in India. Fair enough. BUT TO HAVE THE UNSEEN ALSO SET THERE?!?!?!

I was like "URGH! WTF" when I saw the words "rupee" and also wierd names. Ok so maybe Varun's name isnt wierd but at that time I was like -.- already

The last part of the unseen was the best question. You see, it involved a woman talking to her daughter about arranged marriages on the day of her daughter's wedding. So the last question was : How did the author make the conversation entertaining?

Naturally people would have wrote about techniques and emotions during the conversation.

I SO WANTED TO WRITE : THE AUTHOR MADE THEM SPEAK IN INDIAN ACCENTS, WITH THEIR HEADS GOING LEFT AND RIGHT, GENERATING AN ALTERNATING CURRENT IN THE PROCESS.

But I guess Shankaran would have murdered me so I stuck with the usual. It was really such an ROFL thought at that time that I could not help grinning at the reactions of the Cambridge markers if I wrote that.

So goodbye for now until the Os are over, the worst part being that we have to wait for our results.

Carrying your name, close to me.
