Today, like any saturday, was damn shitty lah. And I meant shitty. Thank God, I was going out in the afternoon.
Woke up at 5 thinking it was school day and then finally waking up to the sounds of MLB from the TV in the living room. My TV is always at either 24/23/22 or 12/11. Call my no life, but I either watch documentries or sports.
Went out with Jasper, Guang, Shank, Tom and Danny to Penin to buy some soccer stuff. Had a nice time walking around window-shopping while Tom got his shins. I was tempted to buy a trucker cap at 1 store in the basement cause EVERYTHING was going for 1/2 price. Holy man..unfortunately, no designs =( so empty handed then.
Saw so many soccer boots that I wanted, wished for and will steal to get(JOKING LAH!). I have to sell off 1 pair first, so thats the real problem now. Anyway, had a fun time chatting and crapping around with them guys.
Saw some guys, that Danny called "Hard-core punks". They were dressed in like biker jackets, leather boots and tapered and checkered pants. One angle is definitely(no other word for it, seriously) COOL. Another may view them as outlandish. All-in-all, I salute these mats for being daring in their fashion sense.
Made our way back in time for evening training and I am glad to say my performance was super-good today. Maybe it's just the big occassions when I really rise up to performances. I felt I was an all rounder today. Saved a few goals with sliding tackles, scored a fantastic goal!!! I just tapped the ball around Guang's brother and with some composure, slotted home the goal. We all play sudden death matches there, so 1 goal is make or break. I HAVE TO SAY I HAD COMPOSURE CAUSE GUANG'S BRO NEARLY TOOK MY BOOT OFF WITH HIS LAST-GASP TACKLE.
On form, baby. And I'm loving every second. =)
Stopped by the friendly policemen for "making too much noise". Wonder whether they will investigate if the residents in 62 and 61 Marine Drive make the same amount of noise with the sport called "Illegal Mahjong" or not? Hmmm, well whatever it was, screw those idiots who want to diminish MPFC's daily routine.
Saw some of the KTC members while buying dinner, and I must confess they are really just nice guys, so different when playing soccer with the last time.
Anyway, England's match is coming up. I saw 1 English bookie on Soccernet giving 81.00 Pounds for an Andorra win.
Cheers to those who dream of upsets.
=D
